Christmas Lights
This year the Christmas switch on event will take place on Thursday 24 November between 3pm and 8pm. /From 3pm - 8pm there will be a gift market at the Town Hall featuring local retailers, and then at 5pm-6.45pm the School Choir Competition will take place at St Mary’s Church full, before the big switch on at 7pm. The festivities are being organised by We Love Marlborough. This year we have been fortunate to have received some generous donations and sponsorship to ensure that the Christmas lights are bigger and better than ever. As well as the contribution from the Town Council, we are enormously grateful to TalkTalk for their sponsorship of £1,400, Waitrose for the Community Matters donation of £520, and Marlborough Bowls Club for £150.
