Marlborough Town Council

Marlborough Town Council covers the Parish of Marlborough (which includes Manton) and -

1. Is responsible for the Marlborough Cemetery and all burials and records

2. Owns the Town Hall and administers Town Hall bookings

3. Is responsible for the up-keep of the Children’s Play Areas, The Priory Gardens, Wye House Amenity Gardens, The Common, St. Mary’s Churchyard, Salisbury Road Recreation Ground, Elcot Lane playing fields, the allotments, The Green, the War Memorial and other smaller pieces of land in the Parish

4. Comments on Planning Applications received by Wiltshire Council  

The old Town Hall (above) as seen in the 1850s. This building was destroyed by a fire and replaced with the modern Town Hall which is available for hire from the Town Council, see more details.

Town Hall Consultation

The public exhibition of the plans for the refurbishment of the Town Hall has now finished. Every household will be receiving a leaflet outlining the proposals, and we welcome feedback by 31 December 2011
