 Each year the Town Council must budget for the year ahead and inform Wiltshire Council for a payment to cover the difference between the projected income and expenditure. This is called the Precept, and it is made up from the money collected by Wiltshire Council from your Council Tax and paid in two instalments during the financial year. The Finance and Policy Committee considers all expenditure and allocations of funds from the Town Council’s accounts and recommends this expenditure to the Full Town Council.
